Rialto 2 is the twin apartment to Rialto 1, in the same building, with the same unbeatable position: steps from the Ponte di Rialto and the market. 55 square metres laid out sensibly: a large bedroom with a king-size bed and a single, and a living room with a double bed. Sleeps up to 5, well suited to families or small groups of friends. First floor, so one flight of stairs to get in, but no internal stairs once you’re inside. The position is the real point: step outside in the morning and you’re already in the middle of the fish market and the produce stalls, with the sound of the vendors and the pulse of Venetian life around you. San Marco is a 5-minute walk, the vaporetto stop Rialto Mercato is 100 metres away, and you’re well connected to the rest of the city. The right place if you want to be at the absolute centre, where everything happens.

The position is hard to beat: you’re steps from the Ponte di Rialto, so crossing it comes naturally rather than feeling like an outing. The market is right outside: in the morning you go down and pick up fresh fish and vegetables from the stalls, as Venetians have done for centuries. The large bedroom has a king-size bed and a single — a practical configuration for parents with a child — and the double bed in the living room takes two more guests. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook with whatever you’ve bought at the market that morning. The vaporetto stop is close, connecting you easily to the whole city. San Marco is 5 minutes on foot, but here you’re living the more authentic side of Venice: the historic bacari, the osterie, the daily rhythm of the market.
How the apartment is laid out
Rialto 2 covers 55 square metres on the first floor of a building in the heart of San Polo, in the same palazzo as Rialto 1. A private entrance opens onto a space on a single level with no internal stairs. The bedroom is large and well-lit, with a king-size bed and a single — a good fit for families with a child or three friends. The living room is spacious and has a double bed for two additional guests.
The kitchen is integrated into the living space and fully equipped — hob, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and everything needed for cooking with market produce. There’s a dining area with table and chairs. The bathroom has a bidet, shower, hairdryer and courtesy kit. Wardrobes and a clothes drying rack are included. Washing machine available in the building at an extra charge. Everything on one level, which makes it straightforward for families with children.

A two-minute walk. This isn’t a position “near” Rialto — you’re inside it. The fish market and produce market are 50 metres away. The vaporetto stop is 100 metres. It doesn’t get more central than this.

The main difference is in the layout: Rialto 2 has a large room with a king-size bed and a single, plus a double bed in the living room — well suited to families with children. Rialto 1 has two separate bedrooms. For larger groups of 8 to 10, both apartments can be rented together.
Yes — with the windows open you’ll hear the vendors and the movement of the market from early on. If you’re after complete quiet, one of our Castello apartments would suit you better.
