The apartment is not large — 35 square metres, designed for two — but it has everything it needs. The garden with jasmine plants is where you have breakfast, read, work with a laptop, or simply spend time outside without leaving home. In Venice, particularly in the historic centre, outdoor space is uncommon. The apartment has been recently renovated and is warm and comfortable: a separate bedroom, a shower room, and a small kitchen for simple meals. Ground floor, so no stairs — straightforward to arrive with luggage or if you prefer direct street access. It sits on a low-traffic calle, one of those streets where the quiet holds and stepping away from the tourist flow feels natural.

The position is practical — San Marco is 10 minutes on foot, the Biennale is 15 — but you return to a quiet, residential part of Castello. The kitchen is straightforward and equipped for basic cooking: breakfast, reheating, quick meals. It’s not designed for elaborate cooking, but it does what most people actually need. Ground floor throughout, so no issues with heavy luggage or stairs.

Melusina Budget covers 35 square metres on the ground floor of a quiet residential street in Castello. A private independent entrance leads into a well-organised, functional space. The bedroom is separate and has a double bed with enough room to move around comfortably. The open-plan kitchen and living area has electric hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine.
The kitchen is designed for simple use: breakfast, warming things up, quick meals — but not for anyone planning to cook seriously. If that’s a priority, one of our other apartments with a fuller kitchen would be a better fit. There’s a dining table both inside and in the garden. The bathroom has a shower, washing machine, hairdryer and courtesy kit. The private garden is directly accessible from the apartment and has jasmine plants, a small table and chairs. The apartment looks out onto other gardens, so the outlook is green and calm — something genuinely uncommon in the historic centre.
